Rusted Iron Ring
Removes the slow-down in water and swamps.
- Category: Rings – Ring
Where to find it
Behind a locked door on the third floor west wing of the Northern Undead Asylum, on return.
Area: Northern Undead Asylum
Walkthrough steps
- Firelink Shrine: Pick up the Undead Asylum F2 West Key on the Firelink roof, then ride the crow back to the asylum to open the west door and loot the Rusted Iron Ring.
- Blighttown and Quelaag's Domain: The swamp slows you badly, so equip the Rusted Iron Ring before the bottom and dash to the bonfire.
- Darkroot Basin: Equip the Rusted Iron Ring for the lake.
- Sen's Fortress: Before leaving, wear the Rusted Iron Ring, ride the cage down and drop onto the ledge with the serpents. Kill them.
- Lost Izalith: Wear the Rusted Iron Ring and walk down the branch. Do not talk to Siegmeyer of Catarina yet; kill all but one Chaos Eater from above with ranged attacks.
